Lidl GB would like to build a new store and homes at the former FA Gills site, accessed from Parkfield Road in Wolverhampton.

A new Lidl store at this site would increase local shopping choice, offer Lidl’s high-quality products at discounted prices, and create up to 40 new local jobs.

The FA Gills site, a former abattoir, ceased full operations in 2023 and Lidl proposes a multi-million-pound investment to create a new community foodstore. A residential development of around 17 new homes is also proposed, including 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom properties on the site to assist with the local housing need.
